To get the ball rolling, I'll share my current meal plans to help jump start your own planning.

For my family, I'm planning around a variety of food sensitivities and strong preferences. There are just three of us, and these issues don't necessarily apply to all of us. It makes planning rather challenging at times!

For example, my husband is a meat lover. I can take it or leave it, but my daughter prefers to avoid it. It's mostly a texture issue for her, but there are very few meats she will consume. In order to accommodate my husband, we won't go fully vegetarian, but I need to make sure my daughter has an alternative protein in each meal. She doesn't eat seafood either; she says fish are friends, not food. 😊

If that isn't challenging enough, I can't tolerate dairy. I refuse to subject my cheese-loving husband and daughter to the mostly awful vegan cheese alternatives. This means finding meals that are easily customizable for each of us.

There are other smaller issues to work around, like texture and spice preferences. Additionally, we try to eat as healthily as possible. Even when I plan a less healthy option, it is almost certainly lower in calories, fat, and sodium than takeout food. Plus, it's much cheaper!

I hope you'll find these meal plans a great way to spark ideas for your family each week. Happy meal planning!
